By clicking send reservation below, you are agreeing to the the French Farmhouse Holidays Rental Conditions and you will be held responsible for the balance due and payable according to these conditions.
RENTAL CONDITIONS
– Payment Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the appropriate deposit and signed booking form. At this time a booking confirmation/statement will be issued incorporating the rental fee, less the initial payment. The balance is payable to French Farmhouse Holidays not less than 3 weeks prior to arrival at the property. If not received by this time, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
– Cancellation Payments received are non-refundable. We strongly recommend that clients purchase Trip Cancellation insurance. If cancellation occurs more than 4 weeks before arrival, the client will not be held liable for the balance. Should such a cancellation occur less than 3 weeks before arrival, the client will be liable for the full cost of the rental.
– Security Deposit and Cleaning Charges No security deposit is charged, but we do expect you to treat the house as you would your own home. Normal use is acceptable, but if there is excessive cleaning necessary after your stay or if there is excessive breakage or damage to the house, you will be charged at prevailing rates. We will provide as much documentation as possible, including copies of bills and house inventory lists to verify any extra charges incurred. Please note that cleaning costs in France are high. At the end of your stay, at a minimum, dishes must be washed and put away, and all trash and bottles must be removed to the designated receptacles.
– Amenities The use of the property and amenities is entirely at the user’s risk. French Farmhouse Holidays cannot be held responsible for injury to a user or visitor and loss or damage to the user’s or visitor’s belongings.
– Belongings French Farmhouse Holidays cannot be held responsible for damages or losses to clients or their belongings, regardless of the cause, during their stay at the property.
– Automobiles French Farmhouse Holidays cannot be held responsible for loss/damage to any vehicle or its contents.
– Party Size Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of six people occupy the property without written permission from French Farmhouse Holidays.
– Renter’s Liability Under French law, renters are responsible for the property and its contents during their stay. We are unaware of any insurance policy currently available in Canada or the U.S. covering personal liability in France. We encourage you to avoid unnecessary risks which could cause damage for which you can be held responsible.
– Changes/Cancellations made by us It is extremely unlikely that we will have to make any changes to confirmed arrangements. However, if for any reason beyond our control we are unable to honor the property booking, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and make a full refund immediately.
– Complaints Complaints about the property must be reported to the keyholder during the stay, and the client must allow the keyholder to resolve the problem. Leaving the property will not entitle the client to a refund. French Farmhouse Holidays cannot accept complaints made after the client’s stay. Should the complaint not be resolved to your satisfaction during your stay, please advise French Farmhouse Holidays of your grievance in writing no later than one month following the end of your rental period. We will do our best to see that the matter is resolved at that time. Every effort has been made to ensure that the contents of our web site and advertising are accurate. The descriptions are made in good faith. French Farmhouse Holidays will not accept responsibility for the breakdown of supplies of gas, water or electricity. French Farmhouse Holidays or the keyholder will make every effort to the best of our ability to solve problems of this nature immediately upon notification.
